As a newly created position within our structure, we're seeking expressions of interest from experienced Development Engineers to assist our team for a temporary period up to May 2027.
With a number of active civil construction projects, both residential and commercial, requiring engineering certification services, this role will be key in ensuring our services are upheld to a high standard during this period.
Reporting directly to the Development Engineering Coordinator, you'll take on a natural mentorship role as Senior, providing advice and support to our team, including our Graduate and Cadet Engineer. You'll bring with you extensive experience in Engineering, with current contemporary knowledge, proficiency and industry currency in the interpretation of legislation, regulation, codes, specifications, standards, guidelines, State and Council policy.
* This is a contract opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to flexi-time
* Base Salary Range: $108,095 to $127,167 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $19,364 motor vehicle allowance + $2,464 retention allowance + civil liability allowance
* You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

* A degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent, combined with experience in related field
* Demonstrated detailed working knowledge and experience in the application of engineering guidelines, standards, and practices in relation to engineering design & construction principles and environmental best practice
