Business Development Manager – ANZ

About The Role
The role is based in either Melbourne or Sydney with a hybrid working model. Work with Cross Market Sales to drive new business for our solutions within the ANZ region.
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue targets and drive business growth through effective sales strategies.
- Convert leads into opportunities and maintain accounts accurately and timely.
- Log customer activity and communications comprehensively within the CRM system.
- Submit monthly forecast reports and update the sales pipeline regularly.
- Prospect within the assigned territory to develop and sustain a robust pipeline.
- Develop and manage territory business plans including recent logos, cross‑selling, upselling and renewal opportunities.
- Guide prospects through the sales cycle to contract close, collaborating with presales and specialist teams as needed.
- Support customers through onboarding and implementation phases, partnering with the FAM to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing revenue life‑cycle management.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of Enterprise Solutions Sales experience in Banking and Financial Services. Experience in Risk, Governance and Compliance is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrate experience in business development and account management.
- Proven proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
