Where you'll be working:
Our Imaging Department at Manning Hospital are seeking a qualified Radiographer to join our friendly and enthusiastic team in a new, purpose-built and expanded radiology department. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated team and provide patient-centred imaging services across a range of clinical areas to patients and carers of the Manning region, whilst ensuring optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.
Taree is a historic town on the banks of the beautiful Manning River, located only a 2‑hour drive from Newcastle in NSW. At the vibrant centre of the Manning Valley, Taree is a great base for exploring the national parks and beautiful beaches of the Barrington Coast. About you:
You are patient-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. Your excellent organisational skills, coupled with your ability to manage a varied workload, will see you perform a range of examinations to a high standard.
Requirements:
* Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
* Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
