Your new role
As an APS6 Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role supporting a large, complex program through the delivery of accurate, timely and strategic financial advice. Working in a growth environment, you will contribute to program-wide decision-making and strengthen financial processes that support acquisition, sustainment and long-term capability outcomes.
In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, providing expert advice, leading small teams, and engaging with senior stakeholders across the organisation. You'll support financial planning, reporting, cost analysis and policy development, while helping to embed continuous improvement and best-practice financial governance.
What you'll need to succeed

Strong experience working within Commonwealth financial and budgeting frameworksDemonstrated ability to provide high-quality financial, budgetary and strategic advice on complex mattersExperience building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationshipsWell-developed written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-tempo environmentA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvementNV1 security clearance
