Overview
Extend, part of The Extend Group, are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated OSHC Assistant on a casual contract to join our teams across Beverley, Strathalbyn, and surrounding areas (various school locations) for our Spring Vacation Care program running from 29 September to 13 October. Bring your energy, leadership, and passion for working with children, and help us create a fun, safe, and memorable holiday care experience. If you are available during the school term, there is also potential for ongoing work in our term-time programs.

The Opportunity
OSHC Assistant - Holiday Care Program
Spring Vacation Care is just around the corner!
$31 - $41 Per Hour + Superannuation
Get paid more! Earn an extra 10% above award with the Workers Retention Payment
Hours, location and shifts
* Up to 6-hour shifts available during school holidays
* Monday to Friday (preferred availability – 5 days per week)
* Casual contract with potential ongoing work in term-time programs
What You'll Do
* Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
* Supervise and support children
* Prepare and serve healthy food options
* Create an engaging and happy environment for children
* Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community

What You'll Need
* Successful completion of 50% of a Diploma, completed Certificate III or IV in Education, Care or Disability
* A current Employee Working with Children's Checks (or willing to obtain)
* First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
* Child Protection Training Certificate (RRHAN-EC) (or willing to obtain)
