Details
* Start: Immediate Start / ASAP
* Contract Length: 12 months
* Pay Rate: $55.24
* Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
* Location: Newcastle
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Quality Reviews: Oversee a range of moderately complex to complex quality reviews and audits.
* Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct activities related to planning processes and decision-making to ensure consistency.
* Technical Commentary: Provide professional feedback and assessments based on legislative and process compliance.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify best practice approaches and use insights to drive higher performance and quality standards.
* Mentoring: Support team members to enhance the correctness of their technical skills and knowledge.
* Data Management: Accurately record data using specific tools (like JIRA, PACE, or CRM) while adhering to strict privacy requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess complex issues, apply reflective thinking, and draw logical, well-reasoned conclusions.
* Communication: Strong written skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into clear, accessible information.
* Legislative Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant legislation, policy frameworks, and "Reasonable and Necessary" decision-making.
* Technical Proficiency: Moderate to strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with government operating systems.
* Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Social Services, Government Administration, or Quality Assurance are highly desirable and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
* Audit Experience: Prior experience completing audits, file reviews, or quality control activities.
* Work Rights: Australian Citizenship required.
