*The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Neuropsychologist - Senior (Mental Health - Adult Inpatients) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide high level clinical neuropsychology services including neuropsychological assessment, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning and interventions to consumers with complex mental health presentations
Display strong skills in patient advocacy and advanced knowledge and skills in assessment of patient decision making capacity
Utilise high level clinical skills in the selection of appropriate psychometric tests and preparation of psychological reports and treatment recommendations
Apply high level knowledge and psychological skills to conduct evidence based psychological assessment and treatment interventions for adult consumers
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
A tertiary degree in Psychology
AHPRA Registration
Driver Licence
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Temporary part time (38 hrs p.f, 6 months with the possibilty of extension)
Base salary ranging from $ $69.55 per hour
