Case Manager (6 months - possibly ongoing)

DASA is seeking an experienced Case Manager to implement a 6‐month Pilot Program. The Program is a Restorative Day Program that will promote alcohol and other drug harm reduction through holistic, culturally grounded supports that strengthen social and emotional wellbeing and foster treatment readiness.
The Case Manager will support program participants by walking alongside them in their healing journey and ensuring a safe, respectful and culturally secure therapeutic environment.
The program focuses on treatment readiness, personal accountability and practical skill development, while recognising participants' cultural, family and community obligations.
Core Program elements include:
* Strengths based activities that build resilience, self‐efficacy and positive identity.
* Life skills development to support daily living, decision making and relationships.
* Alcohol and other drug harm reduction strategies to promote safer behaviours.
* Wellbeing activities that support emotional, physical and relational healing.
If the pilot is successful, the role may be extended, with possible permanency offered.
About You
You will be reliable, have a sound work ethic and a commitment to working within the DASA values of Integrity, Diversity, Compassion, Community, Collaboration & Innovation.
* Excellent organisational & administration skills
* Experience in a Case Management role
* Certificate IV in Case Management / Community Services / AOD or equivalent – or willingness to obtain
* Confident with technology & client databases
* Self‐motivated & dynamic
* Reliable & non‐judgemental
* Holder of an unrestricted NT Driver's Licence
* Confident in facilitating small group sessions
* Have an understanding of the impacts of harmful alcohol and other drug use in Alice Springs and Central Australia
* Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
* Essential requirement to have experience working with Indigenous communities
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
* Familiarity with AOD and risk screening tools
* Understanding of DASA programs and services
* Knowledge of Australasian Therapeutic Community Standards
* Familiarity with Mimaso client database or similar
