The Facilities Manager will ensure optimal tenant satisfaction through enabling the efficient, cost‐effective operation and maintenance of a brand new premium retail shopping centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high levels of customer service, maintaining strong tenant satisfaction and stakeholder engagement while meeting all KPIs.
* Manage site operating expenditure within budget, ensuring cost‐effective maintenance, repairs, and capital works delivery.
* Ensure smooth building operations with minimal disruption, including oversight of cleaning, security, inspections, and reporting.
* Maintain full compliance with legal, safety (WHS), environmental, and client requirements, including contractor compliance.
* Oversee contractor and contract management, ensuring performance, executed agreements, and delivery against KPIs.
* Support sustainability initiatives, including energy and water efficiency and maintaining NABERS ratings.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks, promoting a zero‐harm environment and supporting audits.
* Drive efficient property operations through budgeting, defect management, asset performance monitoring, and continuous improvement strategies.
* Build strong tenant relationships through clear communication, issue resolution, and proactive service updates.
* Manage administrative functions including reporting, budgeting support, contractor meetings, documentation, and emergency response availability.
About You
* Proven background in managing facilities within a high‐quality, premium office asset.
* Strong financial acumen, including cash and accrual accounting.
* A professional, approachable style with high attention to detail.
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
* Current Certificate of Registration and valid driver's licence.
