Are you a results-driven Sales Specialist ready to make your mark in the Victorian and Tasmanian markets? We're looking for an experienced and proactive professional to drive growth in the Specialist Retail sector.
You'll be a key player in our small sales team, with a focus on expanding our business. Your primary goal will be our product and sales specialist; you'll work with our existing retailer portfolio while identifying new opportunities to expand this crucial part of our business.
You're highly effective, have a keen attention to detail, and are technically minded with a desire to learn, teach and know how things work. With so many brands on offer, you must be diverse and fast paced.
You're an amazing communicator with an abundance of charisma and your engaging personality helps create and grow relationships with your customers. You're a self-motivator who's quick on your feet, thinks fast and finds solutions. Your positivity shows not only in your successes but in the way you represent yourself, the brands and the company as a whole.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Initiating professional relationships with the customers, retailers, and designers.
* Training your customers and staff within the Specialist Retail network about our products to ensure they are knowledgeable and motivated to promote our range of products.
* Implementing a call cycle according to your customer base to ensure coverage of key customers.
* Visiting and managing stores, their staff, and product displays.
* Developing and maintaining sound product, industry and market knowledge and sharing feedback back to the team.
* Servicing customer queries, issues and service requirements.
* Communicating with your customers from end-to-end, from initial selection through to after sales assistance.
* Maintaining detailed records of customers' history and visits and reporting the required information via a Planner program (CRM).
* Meeting and exceeding our mutually agreed sales, margin and budget targets.
To be successful in this role you will be expected to demonstrate:
* A proven track record of performance in Sales and/or Account Management within the Home Appliances or a similar market.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, including a positive outlook and team mentality.
* The ability to be able to have multiple projects and tasks running simultaneously while remaining focused.
* Competency in Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Business Central program knowledge would be advantageous but not dependant.
* Be available to participate in Trade nights, have flexibility, and include some interstate travel.
Previous experience working within a Relationship Management role will be essential to your success, and although not critical previous experience within the home appliance industry will be highly regarded.
