The Café Collective is a group of passionate, experienced hospitality professionals with
one main focus, to do the common things uncommonly well. This is a unique opportunity to join our growing team.
You will be assisting our food and beverage outlets in hospital, university and industrial locations around Australia. You will be an integral member of the opening team for new, upcoming stores, as well as assisting kitchens on an ongoing basis as required. You will be responsible for ensuring they are operated to the best of their ability with the highest level of service, quality and display standards.
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to have experience working in busy, fast paced kitchens, including cafes.
The role is mainly Monday to Friday, with minimal night times or weekends. The ability to travel interstate is required for the role.
On a daily basis you will be:
* Providing operational support, assistance and advice
* Training staff across kitchen and food service roles, with support to barista, customer service and administration as well
* Analysing sales data and financial information
* Ensuring compliance with our operating standards and procedures
* Ensuring beautiful, abundent and fresh food displays, as well as clean and well presented hospitality spaces
* Working closely with Managers and Franchise Partners to recruit, motivate and manage staff to the best of their ability
* Assisting in store with peak periods and busy event days in stores
* Identifying areas for improvement, training requirements and potential OH&S hazards
* Attending and contributing to regular meetings

* Sound IT and computer literacy skills
* Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and hold a current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate
* Great time management skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as a team
