The Facility
The Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services (GARS) offers a range of interdisciplinary services, both inpatient and ambulatory, through its purpose-built 16-bed facility situated in a designated area. You will collaborate closely with key leaders in the multidisciplinary team, such as the Nurse Unit Manager and the Program Coordinator.
The Requirements
* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Fellowship of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM) and eligible for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia in Rehabilitation Medicine.
* Applicants with equivalent overseas qualifications assessed as substantially comparable by the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine may be considered.
* A high level of clinical knowledge, proficiency and skills in Rehabilitation Medicine is required.
