Multi-Site Restaurant Manager – Brisbane Airport
About the Role
SSP Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Multi-Site Restaurant Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of multiple retail and hospitality venues at Brisbane Airport. This role will see you managing a portfolio of stores, driving performance, and ensuring operational excellence across all facets of store management.
You will be responsible for managing the following venues:
Mi Casa
Nippon Ramen
Rolld
This is a full-time position on a rotating roster across weekdays, with early starts or late finishes as required, and availability to work weekends as operationally required.
Reporting to the General Manager, this leadership role is key to delivering outstanding customer experiences, meeting commercial targets, and coaching and mentoring your teams to success.
Responsibilities
Lead, support, and develop Restaurant Managers and team members across five venues, fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee the end-to-end daily operations of each store, ensuring consistent execution of service, product quality, and customer engagement.
Monitor and manage staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning in accordance with labour budgets and operational needs.
Drive store profitability by managing budgets, inventory, sales targets, cost of goods, and wage costs.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with brand standards, safety procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines.
Prepare and present performance reports, financial updates, and strategic improvement plans to senior management.
Work closely with airport stakeholders and commercial partners to maintain strong operational relationships.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety, and all relevant licensing and airport requirements.
Coordinate the launch of new initiatives, products, or processes across multiple stores, providing training and implementation support.
The ideal candidate will have
Proven leadership experience in a multi-site or high-volume hospitality environment.
Strong operational and financial management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
A track record of driving performance, mentoring teams, and delivering results.
Understanding of compliance requirements in food safety, WHS, and licensing.
