Family Violence Specialist Practitioner
We have multiple vacancies for a Family Violence Specialist Practitioner to join our team in Shepparton and Seymour. As a Family Violence Specialist Practitioner, you will be working with a close-knit team to provide face-to-face support, facilitate referrals, advocate for clients, and assist with safety planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide crisis response, risk assessment, and case management for women and children escaping family violence.
* Assist with safety planning, advocacy, and support.
* Manage referrals from Safe Steps (24/7 referral service) and other direct referrals.
* Advocate for clients within the broader family violence sector and connect them with appropriate external agencies.
* Work closely with clients on life planning, including getting children into education, connecting with healthcare providers, and other essential services.
This is a Full Time, Ongoing role that requires relocation to regional Victoria. You will be working with a dedicated team of practitioners who are passionate about providing high-quality services in the Family Violence space.
