 
        
        **How will I help?**
The Head of Property and Security Governance is responsible for ensuring appropriate governance and compliance in project delivery and services performed by Group's Property & Security for Westpac. This spans, project management, change and communications management, data management, supplier governance and operational risk management. The objective of the role is to maintain high standards of compliance and governance and ensure all teams (including outsourced providers) operate within process, meet service levels and maintain high levels of performance while supporting the teams continuous improvement and achieving strategic goals.
The Property and Security governance team comprises of operational risk, project management office and compliance experts. The team drive a culture of excellence, governance and compliance by ensuring projects and service catalogue items are delivered within process, delegations of authority, service levels and costs.
In this role you will take responsibility for:
- Overseeing the governance of property and security projects and operations, ensuring they are delivered in line with agreed processes, time, scope, service levels and budget 
- Developing and delivering communications related to property and security initiatives. 
- Overseeing data management to enable accurate and timely reporting and insights 
- Overseeing the governance and management of all the Group's property and security services providers to ensure best practice performance is delivered and robust controls measures are in place.
The Head of Property and Security Governance is accountable for ensuring governance and assurance of all property and security projects and operations; implementing effective change management and communication strategies; ensuring data is appropriate managed to enable accurate analytics and reporting; maintaining strong governance and control over suppliers; and identifying and mitigating risks effectively.

**What do I need?**
You will have demonstrable experience in property management with a focus on governance and project delivery. To find success in the role, it is imperative that you have excellent project management and leadership capabilities. You will have exceptionally strong strategic planning, operational risk, process excellent, compliance and governance skills, gained through leading governance activities. You will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Fastidious about accurate and comprehensive data management, you're also dedicated to creating environments with high standards of operational performance and efficiency. You will be familiar with the delivery of robust supplier governance and compliance. You're a motivated leader who will thrive in the effective management of change and clear communication across Property & Security teams.
