The Opportunity
As Club Manager, you will take ownership of the club’s day-to-day operations, sales performance, team leadership, and member experience.
This is not a desk-bound management role. You will be visible on the floor, leading your team from the front, driving sales activity, and creating a positive club culture that members and staff genuinely want to be part of.
A key part of the role is leading a high-performing sales environment, ensuring the team consistently converts enquiries, nurtures leads, and builds long-term member relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing membership sales teamDrive membership growth through strong sales processes, lead conversion, and community engagementCreate a results-focused sales culture while maintaining a welcoming club environmentDeliver exceptional member service and experience standardsManage club operations, rostering, and performance reportingBuild strong partnerships with local businesses, sporting groups, and the broader communityMaintain brand standards, presentation, and operational complianceSupport marketing campaigns and outreach initiativesEnsure personal trainers and in-club businesses are set up to succeed
About You
Experience as a Club Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Sales/Membership Leader within fitness, hospitality, retail, or service industriesStrong background in sales leadership and driving team performanceConfident coaching a team to improve lead generation, conversions, and member retentionCommercially aware with the ability to balance sales targets with culture and service standardsHighly organised and confident managing multiple prioritiesExceptional communication and relationship-building skillsA natural community builder who enjoys being present and visible on the floorPassion for health, wellbeing, and helping people achieve their goals
