School Crossing Supervisor – Part‐time – St Philomena's School – Moree
You'll showcase your commitment to road safety by supervising children during school crossings. You are expected to maintain a high level of safety awareness and be a reliable, friendly presence in the community.
Shift Pattern
* School- zone hours: 8:15 – 9:15 AM and 2:30 – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
* 1 hour each in the morning and afternoon – 20 hours of supervision per fortnight.
* Compensation: hourly rate, superannuation, and holiday pay for Terms 1‐3.
Responsibilities
* Supervise children at school crossings during the defined shift hours.
* Maintain vigilance for potential road hazards and act to prevent accidents.
* Communicate clearly with students, parents, teachers and motorists.
* Provide feedback to school and transport authorities on safety issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, reference checks, police check and health assessment.
* All training, uniforms and equipment will be supplied by Transport for NSW.
