Functions Coordinator
- Parking on site and close to public transport
- Meals provided while you're working
- Monday - Friday, 9am to 2pm part time shifts with availability required for out of school hours function activity

**THE POSITION**
- This role is responsible for the successful coordination, events and functions, including client (internal and external) liaison and dining operations.
- Plan for functions and events - this includes compiling run sheets, floorplans and managing invoicing
- Provide administration support to the site’s management team
- Adherence to Our Safety Culture framework is expected
- Facilitate the smooth running of events from start to finish
- Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
- Liaise with kitchen and service teams regarding room set up and menu requirements during weekly run sheet meetings
- Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients
**THE PERSON**
- Minimum 2+ years with proven experience in a function venue or similar environment
- Strong communication skills and proven experience managing a team in a similar environment
- Calm under pressure and able to make decisions on the fly
- Interest in the food and beverages / hospitality industry
- Knowledge of front of house service and room set ups
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in event management software
- Detail orientated.
**A current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain is a requirement of this role
