Formed in 1917, The Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC) is Victoria's largest provider of Residential, Community and Home-based early parenting services for families with children from birth to four years of age.
With our Residential Early Parenting Centre in Noble Park and Community home-based services across Victoria, we play a special role in providing parenting education and support to thousands of families every year to give their children the best start in life. Our programs are research-informed and tailored to meet the unique needs of each family and enable families to nurture, protect and enhance their children's, safety, health and development.
The role
The Clinical Nurse Educator plays a key role in enabling the delivery of the highest standard of safe, evidence-informed and competent care.
As a registered nurse / midwife, the Clinical Nurse Educator will provide the 'nurse lens' in clinical training, program development and delivery, while working in alignment with registration requirements of the AHPRA and Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
This is a part‐time, 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours a week) role.

About you
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:
* Div 1 Registered Nurse or Midwife and AHPRA registration
* Desirable post grad qualifications in either Paediatrics or Midwifery or Maternal and Child Health Nursing or Mental Health or similar
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or similar desirable
* Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and facilitation
Theoretical understanding of child and family health, trauma informed care, safety and child development
