As the In-Work Support Mentor, you will provide ongoing support to participants who have secured employment. You will mentor and coach individuals, helping them navigate challenges in their new roles and ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed. You will conduct regular check-ins with participants, offer guidance on workplace issues, and connect them with additional support services as needed to ensure sustainable, ongoing employment. You will also collaborate with employers to foster positive working relationships.

What is our opportunity? As an In- Work Support Mentor, you will play a critical role in providing ongoing support to participants who have secured employment. Your experience in Employment Services or related industry is advantageous but not essential. A qualification such as a Cert IV in Employment Services is highly regarded but not essential. A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory prior to commencement. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID to access government data aligned to the role.
Who are you? You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in employment services or related fields. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and employers. You are capable of problem-solving and conflict resolution, and you can provide tailored support to meet each client's needs. You balance empathy, dignity and respect in daily work while driving positive business outcomes.
