We’re in the final stages of development and preparing for pilot and launch, and this role is key to making that happen. About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on operator who thrives on building from the ground up. This role is about rolling up your sleeves and making things happen – taking our app from development through pilot and into full market launch. This role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the leadership team You’ll be the driver of our go-to-market execution, bridging tech and operations, setting up functions, and building the systems that will allow us to scale. What You’ll Be Doing Operationalise the Project Plan: Own and drive delivery of our Operational Readiness plan, ensuring milestones are met (app testing, workflows, integrations, user journeys). Pilot & Launch Execution: Lead pilot programs, test the app in real conditions, gather structured feedback, implement workflow edits, and prepare for broader rollout. Training & Enablement: Oversee the development of user guides, FAQs, email sequences, and onboarding/training materials to ensure both drivers and riders are ready. Compliance & Safety: Build and embed compliance frameworks (NDIS, Point-to-Point, insurance, cancellations, participant safety) to ensure operations are launch-ready. Partnerships & Growth: Identify and establish strategic partnerships (local councils, vendors, networks), creating the framework for regional expansion. Team & Functions Setup: Recruit, train, and manage new roles and functions needed for launch and scaling. SOPs, Policies & Systems: Create and implement SOPs and scalable policies balancing startup agility with regulatory compliance. Cross-functional Bridge: Act as the glue between development, finance, marketing, operations, and leadership, ensuring a seamless go-live. Market Expansion: Build the playbook for launching into new geographies, with a repeatable operational model. What We’re Looking For Proven Operator: Experience taking a product/service into market, ideally in tech, transport, logistics, or marketplace environments. Hands-On Builder: Willing to jump into the weeds, from testing an app and writing SOPs to meeting with regulators or training the first drivers. Tech-Enabled Mindset: Skilled at working with app workflows, integrations (Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay), and admin panels. Compliance-Oriented: Familiar with regulatory frameworks desirable (NDIS, transport licensing and/or insurance) and able to embed them into operations. Partnership & Growth Skills: Comfortable building external relationships with councils, vendors, supply partners, and networks. Process & Scale: Skilled at building systems for compliance, risk management, and scalability. People Leadership: Track record of hiring, training, and inspiring small teams through early-stage launch and growth. Problem Solver: Thrives in ambiguity, pivots quickly, and focuses on outcomes.
