Wide Bay Energy Group is seeking a motivated Electrical Draftsperson / Junior Electrical Designer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in electrical design. While CAD experience is preferred, industry experience is not essential — we are happy to provide training for the right applicant.
Hours - Part-Time (initial) with opportunity for full-time however negotiable hours are available for the right applicant.
About the Role
You will work closely with our engineering and design team preparing electrical documentation for:
* Underground subdivision projects
* Street lighting and electrical infrastructure works
* HV/LV schematics and design layouts
* Project drawing updates and quality checks

About You (Key Requirements)
* We are looking for someone who is:
* Reliable, organised and eager to learn
* An exceptional communicator (written and verbal)
* Comfortable working collaboratively in a professional design team
* Detail-focused with a strong commitment to quality
Experience & Skills
* Experience or study in drafting, electrical, or engineering fields is valued
* AutoCAD or CAD experience is preferred but not essential
* Junior applicants, recent graduates, apprentices, and ex-electricians are welcome to apply
* Strong communication skills are essential for this role
