We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety industry, with a strong background in installing and repairing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial, residential, and industrial applications.
Key Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required, as well as the ability to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician licenses as needed.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will be interacting with management staff, employees, and clients on a regular basis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for reading schematics, determining materials needed, cutting and assembling pipe systems, installing sprinkler systems, and inspecting them for fire code violations.
* Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
Physical Requirements:
* You must be physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs, work at heights, operate electrical tools, and lift up to 100 pounds when necessary.
