Programs and Projects Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Programs and Projects Manager to lead our initiatives in the Torres Strait region.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing programs that drive economic, social, and cultural development in the region.
This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
Key aspects of this position include program development, managing and monitoring delivery of program outcomes, and ensuring activities respect the unique Ailan Kastom of the Torres Strait.
Responsibilities
* Lead program development, including support across all programs.
* Manage and monitor delivery of program outcomes, including identifying opportunities to improve program outcomes and make recommendations for business improvements.
* Ensure activities recognise and respect the unique Ailan Kastom of the Torres Strait.
Cultural Competency
* Understanding of the issues affecting people and communities.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
* Demonstrated capability and commitment to continue to develop cultural competency.
Requirements
