Community Nurse Specialist
Central Queensland Health is seeking an experienced nurse to provide clinical expertise in a community-based role.
The successful applicant will be responsible for working under the Medical Governance of the Geriatric Evaluation Rapid Intervention - Residential Aged Care Support Service Senior Medical Officer.
* This role requires provision of direct clinical expertise and working within current Commonwealth, State and District regulations in relation to expanded authorities in the Residential Aged Care Facility setting.
* The role has an operational reporting line to the GERI/RaSS Nurse Unit Manager, GERI/RaSS Senior Medical Officer and a professional reporting line to the Nursing Director, Patient Flow.
* The role does not have financial and human resource delegations.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner and hold a current practicing certificate.
* You will also need to undergo the CQ Health Nursing and Midwifery and Health Practitioner Credentialing and Defining Scope of Clinical Practice Sub Committee Nurse requirements for credentialing as a Nurse Practitioner according to the HHS policy.
A relevant qualification in gerontology, palliative care or chronic disease management would be highly regarded.

* An hourly rate between $75.27 - $78.59
