Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation providing vital support services to young people across the community.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a 6-month temp to perm basis.
This role could potentially be a fully remote role with a preference to be based in Melbourne.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of core finance activities.
Key responsibilities will include managing monthly accounts, preparing for year-end processes, supporting audits, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Proficiency in MYOB Advanced is a priority for this role.
Your Profile
- Qualified accountant with prior experience in a senior financial accounting role
- Robust knowledge of month-end and year-end processes, audit preparation, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MYOB Advanced is essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Available immediately or at short notice
- Working Holiday Visa holders are strongly encouraged to apply
