About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Drafting Engineer to join our engineering and design team in Albury, NSW.
You'll play a key role in producing detailed civil and structural drawings, supporting project design, fabrication and installation. Working closely with our engineers and project managers, you'll help translate complex engineering concepts into accurate, buildable designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil and structural projects (noise walls, retaining walls, bridges and boardwalks).
* Accurately interpret engineering specifications and design intent.
* Collaborate with engineers, fabricators and site teams to ensure constructability and precision.
* Manage drawing revisions, maintain documentation control and update designs as required.
* Assist with materials take-offs and provide drafting input for estimates and tenders.
* Ensure all drawings comply with Australian Standards and project requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Engineering Drafting, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in civil and structural drafting, ideally within the infrastructure or construction sectors.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and/or other 3D modelling software (e.g. Tekla, SolidWorks or similar).
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards and civil/structural detailing practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
