Employment Opportunity: Engine Rebuild Specialist
Symons Clark Logistics is a professional Workshop Team in Port Adelaide seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Engine Rebuild Specialist to join their team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and full engine rebuilds on the company's heavy vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing complete engine rebuilds and overhauls on heavy vehicles and associated equipment
* Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer and safety standards
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
* Actioning driver defect reports and completing all required documentation
* Conducting test drives and inspections to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standard
* Maintaining workshop tools and equipment to ensure reliability and safety
* Mentoring and supporting apprentices and less experienced technicians where required
The ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, proven experience in engine rebuilds and heavy vehicle maintenance, strong diagnostic fault-finding and problem-solving skills, and a current C Class drivers license (HC license desirable).
