About the role
As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of units within psychology at undergraduate and graduate levels. You will also be involved in supervision and teaching of Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Master of Professional Psychology students and will assist with Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for our Undergraduate students.
You will:
- develop, teach, assess, coordinate and moderate courses in Clinical and Professional Psychology;- provide clinical supervision for masters students;- undertake teaching and assessment of postgraduate, honours and undergraduate, students; and- supervise students undertaking research projects, including higher degree research;
About you
You will have experience in teaching, clinical supervision, and in providing clinical psychology services, as well as a commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching with the ability to develop and implement a student-centred approach with a focus on student educational experience and success. You will work collegially and possess preparedness to undertake research.
You will possess:
- a master's degree in clinical psychology, registration as a psychologist, without conditions, and with clinical endorsement and approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA);- experience providing clinical supervision to postgraduate students, and/or psychology registrars, and/or 5+1 interns;- high-level interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills and the ability to relate well to students and colleagues;- the ability to work collegially in both face-to-face and on-line professional environments; and- well-developed organisational and administrative skills essential for the development, coordination and administration of courses
