Technical Delivery Lead Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in planning, orchestrating and enabling the delivery of key strategic programs across our organization. This individual will champion agile methodologies aligned to our business' ways of working, providing thought leadership in defining the approach to successfully deliver the implementation of new services and assets.
This includes ensuring they meet cost, resource, and time estimates, as well as having a highly developed business acumen to make sure key strategic programs deliver benefits that contribute to the business' commercial interest.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical delivery expertise, as well as the ability to build and leverage strong cross-functional relationships to ensure the successful uptake and implementation of our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define project delivery approach, including clarity on scope, deliverables and schedule, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Create and manage delivery schedules for multiple streams of work across various teams. Proactively manage project's risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
3. Consult on and implement the appropriate people, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Facilitate and influence decision-making processes to ensure projects remain within budget and lifecycle constraints.
5. Lead the team and other colleagues to operate cohesively in delivering a common goal.
6. Manage relationships with senior leaders and executives of the business to ensure their buy-in and support.
7. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure seamless project execution within the agreed commercial boundaries.
8. Facilitate discussions and ideation sessions, effectively managing conflict resolution to deliver outcomes.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
10. Coach teams to embed Agile tools, techniques, and practices.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in technical project delivery and financial management.
* Highly developed business acumen, with the ability to think strategically and align initiatives with business objectives.
* Strong understanding of agile best practices and DevOps experience.
* Experience in managing SAP implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
* Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Demonstrated experience in SoW negotiations and commercial construct renewals.
* Understanding of modern technology solutions or trends is highly regarded.
