About the Role
* Control train movement and follow instructions, maintaining safety at all times.
* Inspect rollingstock for faults, repair, service, and maintain as needed.
* Support maintenance of locomotives, vehicles, machines, and equipment.
* Conduct brake testing of trains.
* Communicate effectively with depot personnel, clients, and operational staff.
* Undertake shunting and marshalling of trains.
Requirements
* C Class Drivers Licence (mandatory)
* Strong commitment to safety
* Mechanical aptitude
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* A willingness to work day and night shifts, including weekends as required
