About The Role
This role will deliver an efficient and effective Occupational Therapy Hand Therapy service in a Primary Contact Model of Care to identified patient groups within West Moreton Health (WMH), utilising a specialist level of knowledge, skill, experience, and clinical leadership for patients within WMH.

About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

* Specialist level of knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary clinical practice standards in hand therapy.
* Provide clinical services of a novel and/or complex nature and utilise evidence to inform practice and develop clinical standards in the area of hand therapy. Minimal to no requirement for infrequent clinical practice supervision.
* Advanced and consultancy level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to provide specialist clinical advice and consultancy to senior team members and management in the context of complex process within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability in organisational and time management skills.
* Actively lead and contribute to strategic direction and operational management of an advanced practice hand therapy service, lead change, and to initiate, plan and evaluate services through quality and service improvement activities, and to provide clinical supervision to less experienced staff.
* Ability to enact the specified core role capabilities outlined within this role description within your practice.

Mandatory Requirements

* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
