Base pay range
A$80,000.00/yr - A$100,000.00/yr
Join a team maintaining and enhancing a mature PHP application that was originally built on Laravel. This is a backend-focused role, your primary responsibility would be improving legacy code, addressing technical debt, and delivering new features.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and extend a large-scale PHP/Laravel application.
* Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product managers in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
* Own tasks end-to-end with clear communication and accountability.
* Contribute to quarterly releases and continuous improvement efforts.
* Frontend (for context): Angular, React
* Cloud: AWS (basic understanding required)
What We're Looking For
* Strong PHP and Laravel experience.
* Solid understanding of object-oriented design and patterns.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
* Comfortable working on legacy systems and improving structure over time.
* Someone from a product based environment who has delivered robust features and products end to end.
