From our base in Ormeau, we service the entire South East Queensland region — from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and everywhere in between strategically hiring in locations to fulfill our service locations - Minimizing travel & time away from home for our team.
Your Role
As a Service Technician with Thompson Cooling, you'll take charge of maintaining, repairing, and servicing residential & commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems across SEQ.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Servicing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning & refrigeration systems
* Diagnosing faults and delivering smart, reliable solutions
* Providing outstanding customer service that sets us apart
* Helping grow our client base in your area (new client bonuses available)
You'll be trusted to work independently — but you'll always have the backing of a supportive, experienced team.

What You'll Need
* Permanent work rights with no restrictions (ie. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
* Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills is a must
* Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
* ARCtick Licence and valid driver's licence
* At least 1 years' experience as a Qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Technician
* A positive, customer-focused attitude
Bonus points if you have:
* Electrical licence or interest in cross-training
* Experience with commercial or VRV systems
