Job Role: Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in planning and executing maintenance and repair activities for generation assets. You will deliver real-time engineering support to ensure assets remain available to meet market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing technically sound engineering advice that balances asset condition with business requirements.
* Responding to equipment breakdowns by providing timely engineering advice to support fault diagnosis and resolution.
* Working across various sites and spending time on site to develop a deep understanding of our asset portfolio and provide hands-on support where needed.
* Collaborating closely with the Maintenance team to provide engineering support and advice during planning and execution of maintenance activities.
* Contributing engineering expertise to condition assessments by leveraging historical data, inspections, and investigations.
* Engaging with on-site operations teams to exchange insights and drive improvements in asset performance.
You will have a proven record of delivering practical, commercially sound engineering solutions with a sharp eye for detail and a strong focus on safety. You will be comfortable spending time on site, working closely with operations and maintenance teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
