About the business
Limestone Building Blocks Company is a well-established, privately owned manufacturing business located 10mins north of Neerabup. We are currently recruiting a Trade Assistant with experience in daily pre starts and servicing to Forklifts and other various plant and equipment to join our team.
About the role
In this role, you will be required to work both autonomously and as part of workshop team. You will be responsible for day-to-day pre starts and service and maintenance of company vehicles, plant and equipment.
Skills and experience
The role will include but not be limited to the following;
* Conducting pre-start checks on forklifts and other various plant
* Basic mechanical duties dependent on ability and assisting Tradesmen
* Assisting workshop staff as needed
* Sorting and moving parts within the workshop
* Maintaining a clean and safe working area in the workshop and associated areas
* Performing high-pressure cleaning of plant and equipment in the wash bay
ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS FOR THESE ROLES ARE.
* Full car licence – MUST HAVE
* Forklift licence – MUST HAVE
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
* Basic computer literacy
* Willingness to be part of a team
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and AOD screening.
