Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)
Location: Northampton / Brackmils
Pay rate: £12.89
Shift: 9pm – 6am or 10pm – 7am
Type: Temporay – Permanet
Start Date: ASAP
We are hiring for a Warehouse Operatives to undertake general warehouse duties in Northampton. This is a friendly warehouse team that handle high volume of customer orders and you will be an important part of this team helping to make sure that orders will be completed on time.
Duties
* Handling and lifting heavy boxes and bulky items.
* Carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.
* Stacking and wrapping pallets.
* Sorting parcels and organising items efficiently.
* Unloading trailers and ensuring items are stored correctly.
* Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
* Cleaning and tidying the workspace as required to maintain a safe environment.
Skills and Experience
* No prior experience is required, but it would be beneficial.
* You should have a good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.
About the Client
Our client is a goods distributor that is looking for a Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. This client has a large warehouse that has facilities such as a canteen, smoking area, free car parking and locker room.
