Job Description Summary

As the EVS Manager, you play a critical role in creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests and team members. In this position, you will lead the EVS team by overseeing staffing, daily operations, cleanliness standards, and compliance. Your ability to foster team performance, uphold health and safety protocols, and drive service excellence directly supports the overall guest experience and organizational efficiency.

Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

* Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellence
* Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadership
* Establish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goals
* Ensure equipment is clean, maintained in good repair, and used in accordance with manufacturer and safety guidelines
* Monitor and control labor costs and resource use, ensuring optimal staffing and supply management in alignment with budgetary goals
* Oversee inspections and compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local sanitation and safety regulations, including safe handling of biohazardous materials
* Manage reports, schedules, inventory, employee records, and payroll processes using both manual and digital systems
* Provide oversight and guidance to shift managers in training EVS staff on chemical handling, equipment usage, SDS documentation, and work area responsibilities
* Handle escalated guest and employee concerns with professionalism, timeliness, and resolution-oriented communication. Oversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* 3 years of experience to include leadership or progressive responsibility in Housekeeping or EVS preferred
* Proven track record of effective decision-making under pressure and in dynamic environments
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organization
* Ability to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamics
* Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high‐performing workplace culture
* Proactive problem‐solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
* Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive results
* Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and chemical safety; ability to read and interpret financial documents such as budgets and labor forecasts
* Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams

Requirements

* At least 21 years of age
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
* Verify right to work in the United States

* Occasionally push/pull up to 100lbs.
* Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
* Regularly Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
* Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer
* Frequently standing and walking
* Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals, and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company
* Ability to communicate using in‐person speech, radios, and telephone
* Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
* Ability to distinguish between shades of color
* Ability to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
