As an Aviation Rescue Fire Fighter, you will be at the heart of Australia's aviation industry, responding to aircraft incidents and maintaining fire safety.
About the Role
This is a purposeful and high-impact career that requires physical and mental fitness. You will be stationed at one of our 27 airport fire stations, dedicated to any aerodrome-related emergency.
* Responsibilities include providing first aid, maintaining trucks and the fire station, and preparing for emergencies.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
* Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
* Completed Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (Year 10/12)
* Current, unrestricted driver's license with the ability to obtain a heavy rigid license
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HTLAID014) at time of commencement on Recruit Course
* Physically and mentally fit, meeting pass scores in a beep test and aviation medical assessment
