We are looking for a Field Service Supervisor in Perth to manage a team of Field Service Technicians on the installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing of Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) products and DC systems, predominately on mining sites.
This is a great opportunity for a senior field service technician who has supervised field work and projects within critical power applications, ensuring operation to both specifications and customer requirements. The successful candidate will also travel interstate to NT and SA where required.
Key Duties
* Responsible for supervising all operational activities and for regulating and controlling all technical, safety and quality activities of the field service engineers/technicians.
* Site management and attendance if required for field service breakdown, preventative maintenance, commissioning, and service project jobs as required.
* Liaise with Project and Service team to ensure resource availability based on forecast.
* Responsible for Authorized Service Partner's capability and compliance.
* Liaise with client, and coordination team to identify and prepare the required documentation (MOP, SWMS, and program/plan), field service engineer resource, tools, and equipment required to perform the job on‐site.
* Manage the training plan, on‐call, tools and calibration management and schedule of the Field Service Engineers.
* Making decisions in the day to day running of a project and seeking advice or approval as appropriate to ensure that work is conducted in compliance with Company Policies and the Quality Management System.
* Lead and ensure the timely closing on Operational RCA report.
* Review staff performance on a regular basis and create training and development plans for staff and coordinate formal training with product and technical support managers.
* Ensuring the safety and welfare of all operational personnel, and maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to HSEQ practice.
* Responsible for team utilization and efficiency and travel interstate when required.
* Proactively work within the team and cross functional key stakeholders for business improvement opportunities.
* Support sales team onsite inspection and technical and operation inputs for service quotations.
* Attendance at any on site client meetings and providing information as necessary.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a 24/7 environment or similar role within the Electrical/ Manufacturing Industry.
* Electrical license is mandatory.
* Familiarity, knowledge and experience with UPS and DC Systems products and services (maintenance, repair, and commissioning).
* Willingness to travel and work in remote locations.
* Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
