Able to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment, interpreting quotes, price lists and project details, identifying key players and supporting sales processes through follow-ups and collaboration with external sales teams.
General Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Review various lead sources for construction products.
* Manipulate raw data from lead sources to make it user-friendly and meaningful.
* Identify the region of each lead and work with the relevant sales representative or customer to determine the appropriate pathway for the lead.
* Maintain all project files, along with relevant customer and client information, for all job-related lead data.
* Maintain the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) by entering relevant information into various modules, along with necessary follow-up tasks and activities.
* Follow up with project principals to determine when a design or construction contract has been awarded.
* When a contract has been awarded, obtain the relevant contractor details and work with the sales representative to pursue potential opportunities.
* Follow up on opportunities via the customer base to confirm whether the contractor has been quoted and offer any required assistance.
* Prepare quotations for sales representatives and potential customers as required.
* Search internet construction lead services and government websites for projects in early planning, design and tender stages.
* Provide support to other staff members.
* Report on any competitor activity.
* Actively participate in company meetings and contribute to organisational value.
* Project a positive and professional company image at all times.
* Ensure all policies are followed.
