We are seeking a highly skilled
Customer Support Engineer
with a strong technical foundation in
DevOps, modern IT environments, and utility grid systems
to support our
Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS)
operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and maintenance for DERMS environments, ensuring high system availability and reliability.
* Manage
CI/CD pipelines
,
Kubernetes (RKE2)
clusters, and automated deployment workflows.
* Oversee environment setup, patch management, and version upgrades across production and staging systems.
* Troubleshoot complex issues in live environments, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage
system integrations (ADMS, aggregators, telemetry, downstream controls)
.
* Implement and maintain
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
and certificate management to comply with DERMS and IEEE security standards.
* Support global teams across time zones, including product teams in Canada, ensuring effective communication and service continuity.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by automating operational processes and enhancing monitoring and alerting systems.
Core Competencies & Technical Skills
Infrastructure & DevOps (40%)
* Strong hands-on experience with
CI/CD pipelines

* Expertise in
automation frameworks
and infrastructure as code (IaC).
