Job Description
This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on expeirence in the OSHC industy. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location: Located in Belconnen this school have a thriving OSHC program with a team of dedicated educators. Working from K-6 we are looking for a 2IC with an ELC and OSCH background.
You'll work across afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday:2:30 to 6pm

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program
Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.

*Remarkable:Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate:
Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart
Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN
