About us:
The redevelopment of Atherton Hospital is architecturally distinct, yet reminiscent of the deep history of the site. A prominent archway motif is based on the original nurses' quarters design; a brick plinth by the main entrance also pays homage to the original nurses' quarters, created using bricks from the former building; and the colourful tiles on the exterior of the building tell the story of the Tablelands itself - with its rich reds, vibrant greens and deep blues.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
* Assist the Nurse Unit Manager to implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
* Provide clinical leadership in problem solving, planning, and coordination of nursing at a high-level including health promotion activities.
* The Clinical Nurse accepts responsibility for coordinating and leading a designated quality improvement portfolio.
* Promote and foster service improvement through the implementation of quality frameworks in order to ensure the continuance of high quality, safe and effective care to all patients within the CHHHS.
