We're seeking an experienced Construction Labourer / Site Support worker for a long-term refurbishment project based in Wollongong. We're looking for someone who understands how a construction site operates, works with attention to detail, and is comfortable supporting trades in a live refurbishment environment.
* Large-scale refurbishment works in an active operational environment
* Mix of internal, external and façade works
* Structured, builder-led site with clear systems and expectations
* Long-term project with ongoing work for the right person
THE ROLE
This position suits someone with hands-on site experience, such as:
* Carpentry Trades Assistant / Offsider
* Experienced site support worker from refurb or fit-out projects
* Construction worker trusted with prep, protection and presentation
KEY DUTIES
* Assisting site and other trades
* Site prep, protection and set-out assistance
* Materials handling and organisation
* Using basic hand tools for general site tasks
* Maintaining strong site presentation and housekeeping standards
* Participating in toolboxes and following site procedures
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Proven construction site experience (refurb / fit-out preferred)
* Confidence using basic hand tools (drills, impact drivers, levels, etc.) If you also have your own tools that is highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
REQUIREMENTS
* Construction White Card
* Available to start ASAP
* Valid Australian working rights
* Own reliable transport and Driver's Licence
