Securcom is a leading Australian-owned electronic security integrator delivering high-quality solutions across government, commercial, and critical infrastructure sectors. With strong growth in the ACT and the surrounding regions, we are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our team.
About the Role
This is a field-based role working across service and small projects. You will take ownership of your jobs, working both independently and as part of a skilled team delivering quality outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, programming, and commissioning of CCTV and access control systems
* Installation of electronic security and data cabling
* Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding across security systems
* Installation and maintenance of electric fences and gates
* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues onsite
* Completing job documentation and reporting
* Participating in an on-call roster as required
* Maintaining strong client communication and customer service
* Travel within the region and occasional interstate work
Skills & Experience
* Current Security Licence and ACMA Open Cabling Licence
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current Driver's Licence
* 5+ years' experience in electronic security or a related field
* Experience with Gallagher High Security or similar enterprise systems highly regarded
* Strong troubleshooting ability and pride in workmanship
* Ability to obtain AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
