About the role
As an Executive Mobile Banker with ME, part of the BOQ Group, you'll play a key role in growing our presence across Melbourne by building strong, trusted relationships and delivering great financial outcomes for our customers. This role is centred on acquisition, portfolio growth and self‐generated business, with success driven by your ability to thrive in market, establish referral partnerships and create opportunities through our B2B network and broader professional community. You'll own and grow your own portfolio of customers, guiding them through their lending journey from first conversation through to settlement and beyond. Working closely with our fulfilment, credit, marketing and product teams, you'll ensure every customer experience is seamless, well‐managed and compliant, with clear communication and a strong focus on quality and risk. You'll actively manage your pipeline and work in progress, maintaining momentum through regular engagement to convert opportunities into successful settlements. Beyond your own performance, you'll be recognised as a leader within the mobile banking community. You'll provide support, coaching and constructive feedback to Senior and Direct Bankers, sharing your knowledge and experience to lift capability across the team. By staying up to date with credit policy, regulatory requirements, market trends and ME's value proposition, you'll help deliver confident, timely outcomes for customers while protecting the bank and upholding our reputation. You'll proudly represent the ME brand, bringing our values to life and contributing to our purpose of building social capital through banking.
About you
You're a highly experienced banking professional with a strong track record of success in financial services, bringing industry experience and a demonstrated history of consistently meeting targets. You're commercially astute, customer‐focused and energised by the challenge of generating your own business through networks, referrals and community connections. You bring strong presentation and communication skills, are confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and are known for providing an exceptional customer experience. You have a deep understanding of responsible lending, credit assessment and regulatory obligations, and you take pride in getting things right the first time. Your ethical mindset, sound judgement and ability to balance customer needs with business outcomes set you apart. Collaborative by nature, you enjoy being part of a high‐performing team and are equally comfortable stepping into a mentoring role to support and develop others. You approach your work with curiosity, accountability and resilience, embrace change, and are committed to continuous learning and professional development.
