The Company:
EMT OMEC (Part of EMT Group), one of Australia's reputed manufacturers, Distributors and Service contractors for electric motors and associated Industrial applications. Supplier of new products such as Motors, Drives and Pumps, along with repairing, rebuilding, and customizing any Electrical or Mechanical rotating machinery or Industrial Asset. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an Sales Manager to be part of our dynamic team based in our Head Office in Seven Hills, NSW.
The Role:
This position, which reports directly to the General Manager, is dedicated to advancing sales and service growth through the development of new and existing customer relationships within a specified region of NSW. The role also prioritizes establishing long-term business partnerships with clients.
Key responsibilities include fostering and growing the current client portfolio comprising End Users, OEMs, and Consultants. Another crucial component involves identifying potential business opportunities and providing both commercial and technical solutions tailored to client needs.
The incumbent will collaborate extensively with key stakeholders to ensure that objectives are achieved and outcomes are successfully delivered. Effective use of company sales platforms and CRM tools is essential for managing client interactions, tracking opportunities, and overseeing the sales pipeline. Maintaining accurate and timely records facilitates efficient teamwork, comprehensive reporting, and optimal business performance.

Requirements:
We require an experienced self-driven salesperson, with an ambitious nature, looking to grow their career with a growing company.
We need superb presentation and problem-solving skills and the ability to convey this to the customer / client.
A formal Engineering or Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical, with experience in electrical motors would be an advantage, but not essential.
