About the role:
We're seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse & Production Worker to join our growing team in Yatala - for 25 hours per week (with the possibility to increase hours once fully trained after probation term). This role will be primarily assisting the Warehouse & Procurement Manager with ensuring our Warehouse, Showroom and Inventory are kept in a clean and organised state - and that our customer's are kept happy by ensuring all orders are picked, packed and processed accurately & efficiently with all shipping deadlines met.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Warehouse Operations
* Open and prepare the warehouse each day.
* Daily dispatching of customer orders.
* Receive and check supplier deliveries (including assisting with unpacking container deliveries).
* Operate forklift safely and in accordance with company procedures (Forklift Licence required).
* Support warehouse organisation and cleanliness to maintain an efficient, safe workspace and organised stock control.
* Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation, including machines, accessories and floor areas.
2. Production and Assembly (full training given)
* Assemble and pack roller conveyors.
* Assemble measuring stops and parts kits.
* Cut aluminium extrusion as required.
* Pack parts and machine orders.
* Perform basic quality control (QC) checks on all orders prior to dispatch.
3. General Duties
* Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
* Follow the direction of the Warehouse Manager and provide assistance to other team members as required to ensure smooth warehouse and production workflow.
* Use our software system (Cin7) for stock management and order processing (training given).
* Report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues.
* Work unassisted/unsupervised from time to time.
* Identify opportunities for areas where process improvements may be implemented.
The ideal Candidate will have:
* Full Australian work rights required.
* Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse, production, or assembly experience required.
* Current LF (Counterbalance) forklift licence required upon commencement.
* Current QLD Open class C Licence required.
* Essential requirement for ERP software experience, preferably Cin7.
* Ability to acquire knowledge quickly.
* Ability to follow instructions, work independently and stay organised.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Positive attitude with a proactive, solution-finding mindset.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
