We are currently seeking Production Engineers to join our underground Technical Services team. In this role, you will support the safe and efficient delivery of our underground mine plan by developing and implementing drill and blast designs, monitoring daily production performance, and contributing to short-term scheduling.
Key Performance Indicators
You will be measured on your ability to develop and implement effective drill and blast designs, improve daily production performance, and contribute to the success of our short-term scheduling initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing drill and blast designs using Deswik software
* Monitoring daily production performance and data tracking
* Contributing to short-term scheduling across development, stoping, services, backfilling, and maintenance activities
Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Mining Engineering or strong operational experience in underground mining. A proven track record of working in a similar position, with experience in drill and blast design, is highly regarded. Solid problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and excellent communication skills are essential.
